Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam. Mango, papaya, lime and passionfruit aromas on the nose. A bit of tangerine and iyokan as it warms. Warming on the palate with some candied citrus, mango and dried pineapple. A little bit of fruit syrup and alcohol on the finish with some mild bitterness.
Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Lots of tropical orange fruity notes. Sweet and tropical with lots of mandarin. Long sticky finish.
Bottle shared with Marte. Release #2. 2019 Rare Release. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown colored head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, boozy a bit, brandy...hmm well not really to be honest if you'd ask me. Cocoa nibs, coffee, well somewhat I guess. In the flavor malts, dark malts, cocoa, coffee, boozy, somewhat bitter. Well in the end quite pleasant. I like it.
Bottle shared with Marte. Yellowish orangy color, average to decent white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a mix between sweetish notes, lightly orangy notes. Actually a decent tripel if you'd ask me. Great? Maybe not, but quite ok.
Can shared with Marte. Dark orange color, full sized white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, old school hops, sticky hops, lightly sweaty hop notes. Taste malts, old school hoppiness, nice pleasant bitterness. I like it. Sticky hops, a bit resinous hoppy. Pleasant.
44cl can from Asda. Medium creamy white head. very hazy golden pour. Lovely bitterness.
Can shared with Marte. Opaque black color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, soft roast, mocha lightly I guess but I wouldn't have guessed instantly. Flavor is again malts and soft roast, mocha again now more clearly, a bit sweetish. Flavourful though. Quite nice though a bit thin texture-wise. Pretty useful.
Cloudy gold with a decent white head. One tense orange and some light peach. Light bitter peel, orange and some stone fruit. Alcohol is well hidden.
Bottle shared with Marte. Orange color, white head. Aroma is malts, lightly grainy, a bit sweetish, lightly yeasty. Flavor is malts, again lightly grainy, somewhat sweetish and slightly yeasty. Ok blonde.
Bottle shared with Marte. Dark brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor is malts, a bit boozy, raisins, green apple. Meh.
Can shared with Marte. Yellow color, full sized white head. Aroma is tropical fruity, lychee in the distance. Flavor is again tropical fruits, a tad sweet, some coconut hints oddly enough. I miss bitterness although there's a slight note of bitterness in the finish. Decent body and carbonation. Alright.
Can shared with Marte. Ugly pale yellow, fucking punica appearance. Aroma is sweetish hoppy as expected. Otherwise not much interesting to mention. Flavor is similar. Not too sweet in the end. Decent, though nothing special. One of so so many.
Okay. 9/11/10/10/11/10
Bottle. Unclear darker yellowish color, white head. Smell and taste malts, yeast, oranges, orangepeel, some herbs or spice notes. A bit odd. Don't really like it tbh. Meh.
Bottle. Hazy orange color. Wtf? A bit plant like. Wheat. Soft floral. Soft sweetish. Average body, decent carbonation. Meh not very good.
Vollmundiger, kakaoartig malziger Beginn. Geringe Süße, viel Kaffee, feine Herbe. Die Malzigkeit bleibt intensiv, Kakao, Vanille, quasi kein Alkohol. Cremig malziger Mittelteil und Abgang, vollmundig, Toffee, weich. Hervorragend! 9/14/14/14/11/14
Süffiger, rund säuerlich hopfiger Beginn. Milde Noten von Zitrus, spritzig, milde Herbe. Die Säure bleibt konstant, wenig bitter, langer Abgang, erfrischend. 10/11/12/11/11/11
Pours viscously to mossy tan-brown rim over jet-black beer. Phenols, smokey, Islay malts, tarred poles. Mineral, almost salty, smoked, Rauchmalz, whisky; with a strange but pleasing sweetness, +/- chocolatey flavour. Pralines, and a fruity, grapey, very mild acidity. Outstanding, viscous, chewy but with a velvety texture. Alcoholheat, if nowhere as much as the claimed 12.8 would warrant. Nearly chilli effect. Excellent beer, an Imperial Stout, barrel aged, and just as such thing ought to be!
Hell hefiger Beginn, dumpf. Kräutrig, wenig herb, dumpf, moderate Süße. Mittelstarke Würzigkeit. Meh. 9/6/7/6/8/6
