Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear bright pink, looks like soda. A lot of cranberries, light honey, chlorine, sour red currants, cherries. Medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Medium bodied with soft sparkly carbonation and 1quite dry tannic finish. Super drinkable, goes down like a soft drink but it has 7% abv. Quite alright.
Bottle shared at home. Bit unclear golden with white ring head. Sour grainy, spiced herbal, tomato plant, not the fruit, some mint, mild and very fruity with nice balanced herbs and spices. Medium body and soft carbonation. Solid Nevel beer, close friend of Meander. Next time I’d love to try with a Desem pizza. 😉
Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy golden with small white head. Typical Nevel yeast, wheat, light fruity, lemon, mint, soft herbs, a hint of tomatoes but I'd never guessed if I didn't know they were in there. Under medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Medium bodied. Very subtle and a typical Nevel beer, best tomato beer ever.
330ml bottle. Poured a hazy copper colour with a big, short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is lime, tequila and alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, light sour, with a tart lime citrus, woody oak, light warm boozy palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation after the initial bubbles. An interesting beer and fine to sample, but not one to drink on a regular basis.
Bottle at home. Clear pale straw with no head. Apple juice, apple mousse, apple stems, simple sugar crystals, tart apple, soft feel. Bit watery and thin, no complex tannins and sharp cut tartness but still nice and easy.
Bottle shared. Clear deep golden with some soft bubbles. Sweet apple, light grassy, soft tannins, yoghurt, soft citrus, a bit of funk in a very dry way. Almost medium sweet, light tart and very light bitter. Light bodied. A bir watery and plain, needs more depth.
Canat home. Hazy pale yellow color, average sized white head that lasts for a short while. Aroma and flavor are lightly malty, dominated by hops, citrusy, especially in the finish of each swallow there's a short sharp tart-citrus taste. It's ok imo, but one of so so many these days. - Edit: a little later, incidentally after eating some macadamia nuts, the hop flavors are way more profound. Up by about 0.3.
Shared from bottle at home. Unclear golden with thin white head. Dolmas, yellow raisans, wheat, apple. Sweet and sour, bit bready and grainy. Medium body and soft carbonation. Can at home. Clear blonde color, full sized white head. Sweet citrus fruity aroma and flavor, hardly any bitterness. Its not that bad, but it does come closer to fanta fruit lemonade rather than a DIPA imo. I can handle this one, but one per evening is definitely it.
Bottle shared. Slight hazy dark golden with fizzy white head that leaves a small ring of bubbles. Sweet malts, soft funk, caramel, olives, apricot, apple, soft red wine, soft spices, quite herbal, almost meaty, lemon, thyme. Medium sweet, light sour and bitter. Medium bodied with oily feel and soft sparkly carbonation.
Can shared at home. Hazy pale golden with white head. Sweet, malty, fruitcake, cheesecake. Sweet and light candied. Light bitter. Creamy and soft.
Can shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy light golden with big fluffy white head. Pineapple, oats, sweet flower candy, rosewater, soft grains, juicy hops. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Decent.
Disappearing fine bubbled white head, lightly veiled darker golden beer. Obvious vinous notes, white wine, muscatgrapes, but also lunaria and other more hoppy aromas. Hops with a lot of wet dog, asafoetida, and also, remarkably, a flavour reminiscent of grapekernel oil. Again lunaria, young green leaves, white grapes. Finish has a fine bitterish point. Well-carbonated, bit slick and even a slight oily/film feel. Nice one.
Large can. Canned 06 Feb 2020. Lightly hazy golden, soapy white head. Nose is oily sweetish peach, olive oil and faint butter, emphasis on the oily part. Strange faintly thin with bitter paper, weeds, straw & heavy oil, odd body and strange paper bitterness, strange peach, not really my thing but doable.
Frischer, schwer hopfiger Antrunk. Alkoholisch-würzig herb, dunkel, vergoren fruchtig. Spritzig, die dunkle Hopfigkeit bleibt konstant. Vollmundig, süßlich grasig, langer hopfiger, hintergründig trockener Nachgeschmack. 12/10/11/12/11/12
Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Clear pale to medium golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, lemon, some yeast, grass; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, lemon, grassy, mineral notes. Dry bittersweet aftertaste, lemon pith, mineral notes, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, nice refreshing session ale.
Hazy pale golden, good fizzy white head, dissipating quickly, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malt, grain, lemon, light coriander, ocamomile. Taste light to medium sweet and medium bitter, malty, grain, lemon, orange peel, spicy and mineral notes. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, spicy and mineral notes, simple and no-nonsense blond beer, nice.
Pitch black pour with a thin dark tan head. Notes of toasted coconut up front, followed by sweet smoke, peat, toffee, whiskey, green apple, vanilla. Smooth, oily texture with soft carbonation. Good stuff!
Süffiger, herb hopfiger Beginn. Milde Süße, Ananas, wässriger Hintergrund. Süffig, steigende Herbe, moderat bitter, hell brotig. Langer, hopfig herber Abgang. Erfrischend. 10/10/12/10/12/10
Bottle at home, BBQ on the roof! Assemblage 44. Opens silent without pressure on the cork. Slightly hazy bright red with no head. Sweet and sour cherries and lambic. Hay funk and some blood iron. Medium sour. Medium body and nearly no carbonation.
