Our dark lager is distinct by its carefully balanced taste, which eventually leans towards dry notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Brewed exclusively from Moravian floor malts, and hopped by the subtle and unique hops of Saaz variety which lends it flavours characteristic to beers of Czech type.

6 August 2018. At Fabrika, Bratislava. Cheers to Anke!
Pours hazy dark brown to black with a lasting, small, frothy, beige head; little lacing. Aroma of fondant, burnt caramel, coffee roast, nutmeg, cinnamon, cookie dough, raisin, faint licorice. Medium malty sweet onset with lots of caramel, chocolate & licorice, turning light roasted bitter, hints of coffee & toast; touch of sour blackcurrant. Dry, toasty finish, a bit herbal & peppery hoppy, lingering coffee & dark malt. Medium body, slick/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation. Well-made Dunkel, quite interesting even.

F: big, off-white, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: malt, roasted malt, dark bread, brown sugar, grassy. T: roasted malt, hint of dark chocolate, cocoa, light coffee, floral, medium body, medium carbonation, very easy drinkable and may be this beer is even better than it seems to me as I am pampered on top fermented beers in Belgium, 0,3l from tap at Fabrika the beer pub.

0,15l from tap at Pivobrana Festival. black color, small tan head. smells roasted, spices, dark bread, light caramel. decent smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick almost creamy moutfeel. tastes roasted, light licorice, some caramel, spices, light bread / a bit grainy. finishes rather dry and roasted with notes of licorice and spices. good stuff, the smell is OK but a bit limited and just decent, but the taste is quite nice, creamy and lovely flavors. overall quite like it.
