Good bitterness in the flavour
Tap @ NBFD. Pale amber color. Soft citrus, oily hops and tropical fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with soft oily grassy notes. Tropical fruit. Nice.
Bottle from Uw Bier specialist @ home. Orange to copper colour with a medium sized off white head. Smells and tastes hops, malts, sweet, slightly bitter, slightly herbs and slightly older hops, leafy. Medium body, nice carbo. Not how I prefer my double ipas.
Thank you Klaas! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG17. Dark amber orange, small tanned head. Nose is herbal pine resin old school big bitter herbal with bark & herbal pine. Taste is herbal pine bark, basic old school herbal pine resin, bark, bitter leaves finish,… Unbalanced herbal bark, leaves, pine,… not great but passable old school DIPA. Okay enough for sure.

Little cloudy orange beer, big creamy yellowish to beige head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: strawberry jam, sweet, caramel, fruity, malty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty, nice bitterness, somce citrus, grapefruit, bit oxidized. Aftertaste: malty, caramel, bit resinous, some jam.
Hazy orange with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of bitter citrus peel. Very dry finish.
Bottle. Orange bronze color. Aroma of resinous hop, caramel, pine and peach toffee. Taste has chewy caramel, pine, toffee, resinous hop, malt and sticky ripe fruit. Bit too malty and sweet for my liking, bit old school.
33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy deep orange-amber colour, off-wgite head. Aroma of jasmine, oranges, marmalade, light yeasty, lychee, mango. Flavour is sweet, light malty, oranges, marmalade, yeast, mango, earth, floral, jasmine, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice.
