Obviously aged sample No head, dirty amber-brown, still beer. Very fruity nose with raisins, fruitcake, preserved cherries, prunes. Sweet, again fruity, as I prune d'Agen /I. Just a hit at acidity, and more than a boozy hint. Sweet booze, that is. Almondy, marzipan. Alcoholburn and -thinning; still very slick, burning MF. No carbonation left. Middle of the road in the series. But what do we read? German whisky barrels? GERMAN? Where do those hail from?
Corked bottle. Thanks Benzai! Dark amber color. Vinous aroma, bubblegum, oak, vanilla, dried fruit. Malty sweet flavor with new oak, dried fruit, bubblegum, vanilla and soft vinous notes. Whisky. Nice and complex.
Bottle. Boozy whiskey, prune, caramel malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with moderate, short lasting head. Moderately sweet whiskey, prune, caramel malt, and moderately bitter wood, alcohol, and hay flavor. Nice body and balance. A bit boozy but overall nice.
Bottle shared at home, courtesy of Maakun, thanks! Slightly unclear brownish amber with light greyish head. Sweet caramel malts, barley, caramel, dried apple, vanilla fudge, notes of whisky, nuttiness, old dust, cream butter, light metallic and medicinal. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation.
Bottle shared. Clear mahogany with beige head. Marzipan, sherry, raisins, lots of brown sugar, dried apple, vanilla, light flowers. Over medium sweet and under medium bitter. Almost full bodied with soft carbonation.
Bottle. Dark copper color. Aroma of raisin, ripe fruit, vanille and buttery caramel. Rich flavor of raisin, buttery caramel, vanilla, ripe fruits, figs, oak, acacia softness, soft caramelised malt and a sweet vanilla finish. Fantastic.
Bottle at home, red brown beer, small to no head. Aroma is malt, caramel, dried fruit, whiskey, wood, vanilla, alcohol. Taste is the same, quite warming, very very nice.

Clear more reddish brown beer, irregular off-white head, pretty stable. Aroma: very yeasty, banana, alcohol, bit sweet, some caramel, more alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, sugary, alcohol, malty, caramel, more alcohol. Aftertaste: sugary, more alcohol, some chocolate, bit malty, grains, banana peel.
Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 10-2040, large sample. Hazy amber to copper color, beautiful medium creamy head. Aroma of cookie, orange, bit spicy, caramel, raisin, vanilla, oak, whisky. Dry in taste with booze and oak, orange and raisin, spicy notes. Great balance, wonderful complexity. Awesome stuff.
