Aromas are a nice blend of resin, citrus, dry grain, tree bark and some malt. Flavors are similar to nose and lean just slightly sweet. Nothing new or special but very drinkable. Nice beer.

473ml can. Opaque yellow, white head. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, orange. Taste is very hoppy, tropical, pineapple, orange and grapefruit, melon, peach, pine, pithy citrus remains dominant throughout though. Great DIPA, intensely hoppy.

Bottle. Opaque sand with a dense white head that fades to a cm. 3+ Aroma of ripe and under-ripe tropical fruit- mainly mango - some lime, herbal notes edging up on Thai market. 8- Fruit dominates the taste with more oranges than anything. Pineapple and mango there too. Texture is smooth but not chalky. Bitterness is moderate. Pretty good. There are several things (juiciness in taste and texture, lowish bitterness, savoury herbal notes, astringent/ burning finish, alcohol content) where what's good about this amounts to not going too far. Very nice.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/23/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, onion, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, onion, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, onion, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, lightly sticky, and slightly resinous mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol after the finish for 8%. Overall this is an incredible NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Fantastic soft/silky feel for the ABV. Amazing Citra hop showcase. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Bottle. Pours hazy bright yellow. Peach, touch of grass, honey, tangerine, lemon, bit of booze, pretty sweet. Good body. I thought my bad experience with the DDH version of this was just a bad batch / bad luck, but given this I think maybe I just don't like the combination of ingredients they use here. Shame.

12oz bottle via trade, thanks Arturo. no BB.
