12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/20/2016. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big cucumber, lemon, lime, mint, wheat, white bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of fruit/mint and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big cucumber, lemon, lime, mint, wheat, white bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of cucumber, lemon, lime, mint, wheat, white bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and balance of fruit/mint and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, clean, lightly grainy, and slightly syrupy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3%. Overall this is an awesome radler! All around great robustness and balance of fruit/mint and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. There is a lot of lime flavor to balance the cucumber presence; so it doesn’t feel too weird as it usually is for me. A highly enjoyable offering.
Draft sample. Clear pale yellow color, white coca cola head. Aroma of salad, mint. Taste is refreshing and lightly fruity, crisp beery finish. A creative spin on the style.
