Tasting at Tokyo Midtown. Light brownish-red pour, not really carbonated. Nose is autumny, lots of barnyard funk, decent level of acidity and light vinegar. Cherry peel bitterness, juice. Taste has more vinegar, light acidic feel to it, dry and tart. Interesting level of ageing in this 2014 version, acidic but mellowed together. Red currants, dry finish. Treat.

Lovely red brown color. Amazing vinegar, wood and cherries in the nose. Very tart nose. The mouth is extraordinarily tart with tons of cherries, oak and vinegar. Lingering sour oaky finish with tons of cherries

Location: 375ml bottle from Sparrow - Downtown, 11/10/15, Labeled as 2013

Aroma: The aroma is wood and funk, cherry, cranberry fruitiness comes through as well
Appearance: It pours a completely clear cranberry juice color with no head or lacing
Flavor: Decent flavor of wood and sourness, fruity too, but more woody than fruity
Palate: Has a solid enough mouthfeel, somewhat fizzy carbonation, slightly dry close
Overall Impression: Decent one overall. Nothing too exciting here, just a solid, woody and fruity sour. Not much more to say beyond that.
