Bottle. Color: Clear orangish amber, large frothy white head. Aroma: Hop, malt, strong leathery Brett funk. Taste: Moderate sweet, very light sour, over moderate bitterness. Starting fruity, malty, leather Brett notes coming in and becoming stronger and stonger towards and at the finish. At the finish, the fruity part almost disappears. Nice leather and medium bitter, very dry finish. The finissh reminds me a bit of Orval, but the start is more fruity. Very nice, especially for Brett lovers like me.
Hazy amber colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour are very strong with Brett funk. Dry and clean with touches of dried fruits.
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aromas of brett, citrus, peach, orange, light wheat, esters. Taste is bretty as fuck, dry grassy, tangerine, orange, citrus, hay, wheat.
Bottle, huge thanks to Raven ppl! Misty apricot/orange body, white head. Brett immediately hits in the aroma, but the funkiness edges slightly towards toothrot. The taste, however, makes up for it, very smooth and creamy, the Brett strongly in control, carrying notes of oranges as well. Very good stuff that I understand the big score for!
Bottle at the Poechenellekelder. Super Bretty taste and aroma. Also usual De La Senne citrus hoppiness but some tropical stuff too. Lightly leathery, nice bubbliness. Great stuff.
Bottle. Malty aroma, belgian yeast, berries fruit, light wine notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light sour, light to medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty and yeasty sour and bitter finish. Ok.
330 ml bottle from L‘Abbaye des Saveurs, Lille. Murky dark orange, huge fluffy head. Brett and notes of Lambik in the nose. Sharp hoppy funky notes, overripe apples, pine, dry cider, Apfelwein, dry vermouth, liquorice, apple vinegar, Gueuze, white pepper. Strong hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, long intense dry bitter finish. Awesome funky stuff.
