500ml bottle, thanks to Gabriel! Pours a deep amber, small off-white head. Aroma has a nice sweet autumnal warmth, light grain. Taste presents nice deep toffee, caramelised malt, brown sugar, grain, rye bread. Good well-rounded alter, a touch too rich perhaps, but otherwise a nice flavourful altbier.
Bottle - Dark and malty with a touch of wood. Deep murky brown with a decent white head. Dark roasty malts, toffee and caramel with a touch of bitterness and charred wood.

Dark brown colour. Aroma and lfavour have biscuity, sweet malts. A bit toasty too.
Thank you for sharing! Sampled 500 ml. bottle @ Gents Bierfestival 2016. Dark red amber, little tanned head. Nose is sweet metallic, malty, oxidized, stale leaves, little umami. Taste is fizzy, old, oxidized, leaves, herbal, herbal,… Tastes old & stale – it has only recently been released so it is still pretty fresh. This one doesn’t appeal that much to me – I have had the Braustelle version draft at the pub & I rather liked that one.
