Bottle. Aroma is great, barrel, fruity. Taste is good, rich, boozy at the finish. Lots of barrel. Lots of malt. Very interesting.
Pours dark brown, a bit of foam. Aroma is quite interesting, green apple, smooth and a bit of caramel. Taste is multi-layered. Has some subtle caramel malt, clean, nice cocoa beans and still some green apple. Hops also there shining through especially from the end. Superbly balanced, well made.
Mahogany color, with thin head.. Lots of oak vanilla, chocolate, Bon bons, cherries, oranges. Very malty. Slightly boozy. Sweet nose. Bourbon is fairly subdued and well integrated. Very malty. One of the maltier beers I’ve had from the U.S. could be from Scotland. The mouth is a bit malty and a bit weaker than I would think. Kinda strange, but lovely.
Draft. Amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of plums, dates, caramel. Taste is rich dark fruit. Very tasty.
