33 cl bottle from De Prael shop @ home. Dark amber to brown color. Off white head. Aroma’s of caramel, flowery hops, skunk (weird), some acidity from the hops, earthy. Flavor is moderate bitter with some acidity. Medium bodied. Finishes with a lasting earthy bitterness. A bit weird, especially the skunk.
Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Murky orange color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, bitter, a nice soft touch of citrussy fruityness coming through the bitter. Nice and fresh, I quite like it. Average body, medium carbonation.
Bottle @ home shared by me. Slightly hazy amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Smells slightly hoppy. Little to no smell. Tastes malty, hoppy, sweet, bitter. Medium body, nice carbo.
33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy orange colour, off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, grapefruit, oranges, orange peel, light earthy, light malty, a touch of caramel/butter. Flavour is light-sweet, light floral, turns dry and bitter quickly, grapefruit, bitter-lemon/quinine, oranges, grass, light-earthy grapefruit bitter finish, very dry and bitter. Light-bodied. De Prael usually makes decent beers, but this is surprisingly good.
