Tap @ De Molen. Amber color, cloudy. Malt, dried fruit, malt syrup and a hint of smoke in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet, smoky flavor. Butterscotch, peat even. Very nice.
330 ml bottle from trade with Douberd. Thanks Christos! Clear dark amber color with beige head. Malty aroma, smoked notes, lots of bacon, smoked herring (?!) when it gets warmer, caramel, candy sugar, bread, some fruity notes. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma, smoked meat and caramel again. Full silky sticky body with soft carbonation.
Dark brown color, light beige head, good retention with nice lacework. Aroma is smoky, light roasty and toffee. Flavor is slightly sweet that change to a light bitterness, lot of smoked meat and some wooden notes. Light toffee in the final with a high presence of smoke.
Bottle at home, dark brown beer small/medium head. Aroma is smoke, smoked meat, spices, Taste is smoke, smoked meat, fruit, small tingle of the peppers... expected/hoped more. very nice.
Bottle - Lovely sweet smoke aroma and some deep toffee notes. Cloudy copper red with a small beige head. Sweet, smokey and a nice peaty almost manure note. Finish has more caramel coming through. I love it.
