Bottle. Deep brown with a beige head. 3+ Aroma of chocolate, bread, spices. Some roast, hints of stewed fruit. Sweet with dark sugars, some roast & chocolate, decent spicy bitterness. Not a lot behind the sweetness really. But pleasant enough. No obvious alcohol.

Cherry, orange, chocolate toffee malt, and hay aroma. Dark brown with nice tan head. Very sweet berry, citrus, chocolate toffee malt, and moderately bitter/astringent hay flavor. Good body. Excellent.

Bottle from Trinkgut. Malty beginning. The beer is round and deep, sessionable with a round and malty aftertaste. Nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before September 2018. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately fruity and a little roasty aroma of lots of caramel, molasses, raisins, prunes and some cocoa. Quite sweet, malty, moderately fruity and slightly roasty taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, cocoa and some molasses, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit roasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, well-balanced and round Bock.

Dunkler, malzig-karamelliger Beginn. Milde Noten von Holz, etwas Schokolade, erkennbarer Alkohol im Hintergrund. Vollmundig malziger Mittelteil, eher trocken, Nuancen von Vanille. Konstant aromatisch, sehr langer Nachhall. Gut. 10/11/11/12/10/12
