On the afternoon of 26th March 2019 my wife and I tried four flights (of four beers) in the centre section of the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside, two flights of their own beers and two flights of guests. This is one of those 16 beers. Light golden body, wispy white head. Standard Pils in every way, refreshing and easy to drink, very little aroma or actual taste. Light grainy nose and flavour if you sniff and dig deep enough. Just average really, surprised it's in the top 50 for the style, maybe the breweries name and fame have clouded some peoples scoring?
On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Lavender, floral, nectarine, citrus, reasonably clean. Medium body. Decent.
Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and grass. Taste has pale biscuity malt, citrus and an herbal note. Good for the style.
From tap at the brewery. Clear yellow golden color with white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, bread, straw, caramel, grass, citrusy fruity. Sweet and bitter taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.
Tap at the brewpub. Pours clear pale yellow. Really a nice pilsener. Great bitterness, solid balance of dry and still a little sweet. Refreshing. Good.
Panel1 - no pils jak pils w sensie spoko do picia wiadrami
Draft at RB Best Fest 16: Poured a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is grain and sulfur. Taste is clean fresh grain. Nice pils!
Draught at Russian River. Almost clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of grain, floral hops, bread, earth and crackers. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of bread, grain and light floral hops. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Solid Pils.
