Clear amber with a cream coloured head. Aroma of malt and caramel with light overripe dark fruits. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Bottle: Poured an amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is metallic, malts. Taste is wet, toffee, malts and grains.
Bottle at Athens airport. Nice big foamy head, brown body. Soft hops on the nose inferspersed with wafer. Flavour is a lot of bread, sweet breadiness. Crisp finish. Not bad, drinkable. Cost almost as much as the sandwich....
Bittle. Pours clear dark red with creamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste with toffee, roasted malt flavor, medium finish. Nice and smooth.
0.5 l bottle from a local shop in Lacones, Corfu island, Greece. Shared with lovely Anja and professor Igor. Clear light amber, medium off-white head. Grassy hops, toasty, caramel, light honey and light nuts. Light bitter, balanced with malts. Medium body, medium carbonation, sweet finish. Nice touch of hops to spice it up.
Flaske 500ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og djoeye hos sistnevnte 26 Jul 17. Brunamber. Lett uklar. Filmskum. Aroma av furunåler. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. + for veldig pen layout på etikett!
500ml bottle bought at Machu Picchu Bar & Deli, shared back home with djoeye and Finn. Good lacing from a lasting beige head. Next to clear mahogany-reddish body. Moderate smell of herbal hops and caramel. The taste profile follows suit with brittle caramel, dusty hops and a yeasty touch. Rounded mid-sweet malty end. Satisfying. (Tromsø 26.07.2017).
33cl Bottle from Douberd, thanks Christos! Hazy copper amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of berries, vegetables, caramel. Flavour is tart, berries, forest fruits, grain, hint of veggies, bitter and slightly tart finish. Light bodied. Not good, these guys have serious qc-issues imho.
500ml bottle outside a bar in Corfu Town on 8th Oct 2016. Mahogany red body with a wispy beige head and collar. Malts rule this fairly thin bodied ale and it’s a little too sweet for it’s own good. Nice to see ales (not just lager based beers) being brewed on a Greek island, but this is not a great beer: scored kindly and objectively.
