12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/5/2013. Pours fairly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of peach, passion fruit, mango, tangerine, orange rind, floral, caramel, grass, light pine, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of tropical/citrus hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of peach, passion fruit, tangerine, orange zest, floral, caramel, grass, light pine, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, tropical fruits, floral, caramel, grass, and light pine on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a balanced malt backbone and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice IPA. All around nice balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
