330ml can, as Kaapse Bertus, 10 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a dark ruby-brown body, low fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Inviting roasted brown malts on the nose, scent of earth and biscuit. Well blended taste of toffee, dried fruits, bread, and a light vibe of smoked malts. Roasted brown malty finish, lingering. Fine bodied. Very suitable sipper on a Friday afternoon. (Tromsø 27.08.2021).
