Little cloudy deep brown beer, small aery irregular beige head, unstable, dissipates immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of chocolate, some caramel, malty, cow fodder, some dried fruits, bit of cardboard, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty watery, soft roast, bitter touch, malty, grains. Aftertaste: watery, little metallic, some caramel, grains.
Drank at the Split “Granny Flat”. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, plums, chocolate, and light roast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Really fruity but pleasant and different.
On tap at Black Dog, Split. Shared with Jure. Black, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, toasty, roasty, fruity. Flavour is spicy and roasty, no burnt character. Lactose, swetness. Nice balance. Soft, quite creamy.
Tap at Dellamorte. Black with a brownish head. Sweetish aroma, nice dark malts, creamy, fruity, plums, mild chocolate. Nice sweetish-dry taste, well balanced dark malts, plums, vaguely flowery(?), silky. Drinkable, just a tad too dry in the finish, but an very good stout by all means.
