This double black-as-night IPA is too massive for just one brewery’s efforts. BLAKKR took the trinity of Real Ale Brewing Co., Surly Brewing Co. and Three Floyds Brewing Co. to actualize this crushing ale. This imperial black IPA has flavors of black licorice and bittersweet hop aromas of pineapple.

Draught at CBC 2014. Opaque black liquid with a medium light tan head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, ash, coffee and licorice. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of citrus, tangerine and light ash. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Great BIPA, absolutely top class. Great hoppiness.
