16/XI/21 - 1Pt. can from Bierhalle Deconinck, shared @ home, BB: n/a, canned: 5/VI/21 (2021-1444)
Cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, pretty dank, bit cheesy, nice, tropical fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty fruity, dank, tropical fruits, nice bitterness, cheesy, sweet touch. Aftertaste: tropical fruits, cheesy, pretty sugary, bit dank, nice bitterness.
Medium yellow head, receding over hazy dark yellow beer. Fruity nose, fruitacids, citrus(peel). Sweetish impression with straw, old bread, and with a citruspeel surrounding. Sweet-bitterish with hints at acidity. Medium to well-bodied, pretty slick, mild carbonation. Again, decent. Brewery seems to excel in balance.
Humalane, magus, laktoos, tsitrus, mehune. Ok.
Double dry hopped version of an existing Other Half DIPA, tasted from a can bought at Bierhalle Deconinck. Yellowish egg-white, membrane-lacing, moussy, opening head on a cloudy yellow blonde beer with murky beige tinge in the end. Bit dank, very citrusy aroma of moldy grapefruit, Zespri kiwi, kumquat, starfruit, fresh lemonbalm, onion sweating in olive oil, orange pith, green olive, mugwort, milk. Sweetish, very juicy onset, sourish undertone of a refreshingly citric nature, impressions of unripe pineapple, green banana and pomelo, fizzily carbonated but maintaining a softly creamy mouthfeel, becoming a tad powdery in the end; bread-pulpy maltiness soaked in zesty hoppiness, retronasal aromatics of lemongrass, pomelo, starfruit and unripe mango along with a mugwort- and citrus pith-like, gently lingering bitterness. Remains juicy till the last drop, while the alcohol stays perfectly hidden. Technically very well-executed NEDIPA, complex, refreshing and aromatic, worthy of Other Half's reputation in this field.
Pours extremely cloudy ( milky) yellow. Medium creamy white head. Scent is rather mild yet creamy, citrus. Taste is full, creamy, very thick and juicy. Mild stone fruit some citrus. Not overly intense ( relatively) on the aroma. But very nice body indeed. Fairly low Carbo. Easy drinker. Lovely IPA.
Can shared by Johnny. "Pèrdezoad" appearance, white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, hops, fruity, tropical fruits. Pleasant, though I would like more bitterness. Solid.
Can shared. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aromas of sweet tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, passionfruit, dank hops, citrus. Taste is sweet, mango, citrus, pineapple, dank herbal finish.
Thanks Stefan H.
At the Source, small glass. Pours a murky yellow colour. Aroma's: citrus, juicy, onion, dank hops. Retronasal: dank, citrus, sweetish, onion. Flavour is moderate sweet, and moderate bitter with fruit. Medium bodied. Soft carbo, but plenty of it. Moderate bitter finish. Great burp. Very nice but not their best.
