According to HotD site this was bottled in September 2011, almost 10 years ago. Pours mostly clear, amber rather than golden, and an off white head with some retention. Aroma's: sweet, soft fruit, light raisin. Retronasal it's sweetish, fruity, bitter. Flavour is moderate sweet with a firm bitterness. Medium bodied, good carbonation. Long finish, quite bitter.

On tap at Fakin Craft Beer Bar, Zagreb. Clear dark golden, minimal head. Aroma is caramel, syrup, brandy, ripe fruit, dried fruit: figs and prunes. Toast. Hop aroma is slightly harsh, soon giving way to much softer malt notes. Strong, oily, brandy-like. Sweet, alcohol well hidden. Light spice, lots of dried fruit. Raisins, figs. Honey. Medium body, moderate finish. Rich and smooth.

Hops starting to mellow, raisin sherry oxidation starting to come out. Caramel, crackers and candi sugar. Tasty!

Bottle from 2007. Pours hazy dark muddy brown with no head. Aromas of caramel, fainted hops, dark jam, light salmiak, heavy malt, dark ripe fruits. Taste is malty, caramel, faded hops, raisins, dates, bitter licorice-like finish. Such a good balance!

Tap at Craftheads. Blonde. Wow, lovely taste. Rounded, booze is there but hidden. Very smooth. Grainy, but sweet, orchard fruit, sticky sweetness. Treacle/golden syrup. Very easy drinking. Lovely stuff.

Bottle @ jbrus’s place. Strong vinous aroma with fresh cheese, banana and melon. Syrupy mouthfeel. Strong hopbitter flavor matched with tropical fruit and then returning in the almost oily hopbitter aftertaste. Rather alcoholic, but not annoying.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Rob, big thanks. Batch 98. amber cloudy color, almost no head. smells marzipan, nutty, some ripe fruits, lightly musty, caramel, very nice smell. full body, no carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes ripe fruits, caramel, honey, molasses, peppery, some yeast, rather sweet. finishes medium sweet with notes of molasses, some fruits and sweetness. uhm, I can see why this was great 15 years ago, but in 2017/18 this is rather dated. Taste is not good, no balance, too heavy. Definitly dont drink this fresh, rather sticky mess.
