Bright yellow with a big white head. Aroma is citrus hoppy, lemon. Taste is crisp and dry, with a spiky bitter end. Medium bodied. Good taste for low alcohol percentage. I prefer Taras Boulba and Zinnebir, but this is definitely another good'un from De la Senne. --- Beer merged from original tick of Brussels Calling (...-2014) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Bottle. Hazy gold with a huge white head. 4 Aroma of grapefruit juice, cracker dough, apricots, coriander seeds. Lots of grapefruit. 7+ Light bodied, highish carbonation. Not as dominated by grapefruit as suggested by the aroma - it’s prominent but sits just above apricots, crackers, white pepper, coriander. Just enough sweetness before the dry and fairly bitter finish to make it elegant rather than austere. Right up my street.

19/08/2015 – 33cl bottle @Bourgondisch Kruis. Hazy yellow, big foamy white head. Fruity smell. Taste : massive exotic fruits, very light sweetness, enjoyable bitterness. Summer in a bottle
330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours murky gold with white head. Pale, refreshing citrus with De La Senne’s characteristic bitterness. Nice.
How: Bottle.

Leicht trübe hell goldgelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht grasig hopig, gering Kraut, trocken. Geschmack bitter hopfig, grasig, sehr malzig, etwas Getreide, florale Noten, viel Malz, gut!
Tap at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is yeast, grassy citrus hop, light weed. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a light, crisp, grassy hop bitter, light toothpaste palate. Light to moderate bodied with average carbonation.
Yellow with lasting head. Fresh hoppy taste with light tropical fruit. Clean and easy to drink. Moderate bitterness.
