Bottle [from Euro Swap 2018-3 thanks to Rauchbierlover] @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized brown colored head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, lightly earthy notes but some dark fruit as well. Flavor is malts, ripe dark fruit, dark malt initial bitterness comes up buy before it gets to full flavor it is taken over by sweet dark fruit notes. Very interesting and tasty this one. Medium to full body, suitable decent carbonation. Lovely beer.

Tap in Störtebekers tasteshop in the Elbphilharmonie. Darkest brown, super stable creamy brown head - as if it has been Stachelt. Roasty nose, licorice iodine, seaweed, sea foam. Medium to full creamy body. Chocolate mousse, milk choc, some sugar, salt licorice foam finish. Very pleasant balance, flavorful yet subtle.
