Draught sample @ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Pours hazy golden with a rather small offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with caramel, bread, grapefruit, overripe tropical fruits, moist grass, pine needles, resin and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, slightly malty and fruity with caramel, bread, grapefruit, overripe fruits, moist grass, resin, cardboard and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, round, astringent, tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, grapefruit, overripe tropical fruits, grass, pine, resin, cardboard and lemon zest. Old IPA... Glad I didn’t have to pay the ~$8 they charged for a small glass. I’m sure it’s good fresh...

Bottle. Tangerine/peach malt, grapefruit peel, and cedar aroma. Cloudy amber with moderate head. Sweet orange/peach malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. Good - pretty standard 3F IPA.

Draft at Three Floyd’s Brewpub. Pours hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resinous hops, citrus and orange peel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and heavy bitter, the hop character from the nose coming out even stronger and almost seeping out of your skin with resiney hop juiciness. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
