Can from A.J.s. Nose is lemon, grass, berry, orange, grapefruit, crackers. Hazy bright golden color with a low, thick head. Light herbal flavor, citrus, grass, crackers, light berry and vegetable. Crisp and light and improved as it opened up.
Can from Milk and Hops, as Calyptra Session IPL. Sort of a hazy yellowish-gold pour with a nice, fizzy, egg shell head and some solid lacing. Melon and citrus, some yeast, dough, and a bit of spice. Finishes somewhat dry. Malt backbone holds up pretty well to the hops. Fizzy feel, with a long, clean, tingly finish. Not a world class beer, but way above serviceable.
Can. Cloudy yellow with off-white foamy head, citrus aroma, medium carbonation, slightly sweet lemon peel taste (like Meyer lemons), smooth body, lightly bitter long finish. Very smooth and tasty.
Sampler at the brewery. Hoppy aroma, mildly carbonated. Yeasty flavor and medium body with a nutty aftertaste. Great tasting beer.
Bottle. Pours yellow gold with white head. Nose/taste of citrus peel, grass, grapefruit, dry toast and spicy yeast. Medium body.
