Bottle. Golden color. Peach, citrus And white pepper in the slightly herbal aroma. Malty sweet, slightly herbal citric flavor with tropical fruit And oily hops. Nice, tasty, well balanced.
Batch 13. An extremely hoppy monster DIPA. Hugely bitter, yet still fruity. Some sweet maltyness in the back. Dry, bitter aftertaste. Fun!
0.375 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, best before May 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity and a bit herbal-grassy aroma of orange jam, mango and tangerine. Sweetish, slightly bitter, rather fruity and slightly herbal-grassy taste of orange jam, mango, tangerine and some ginger, followed by a medium long, rather bitter, herbal-grassy, just slightly resiny and a bit dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really nice, but could have been more aromatic, lacks a bit of punch to be honest.
Bottle at home. Murky amber with big white head. Sweet malts, grapefruit, caramel, strong raw potato peel ground bitter, some herbal ethereal spice. Moderate sweet and over medium bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Hops past their prime, too cold, both? Nice mineral water based texture. Finishes with a light fruity sweet and a very vegetable bitter.
Bottle from het Biermoment, batch 13 BB 5-12 (whatever that means, guess its about 3 months old), 37.5 cl sample. Almost clear golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma has citrussy hops, slight perfunmy malt and some tropical fruit and pine. Medium bitterness, slight piney, citrussy and a bit floral, bit honey sweetness or "weeig" malt. Good stuff, and they clearly are going to be best new brewer of the year, but they are not there yet to be honest. 8 or 9 out of 10, but I hope they can make that final step to perfection, as I think they are capable of doing that.
Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus, peach, pineapple and mango. Taste has soft peach, apricot, citrus, caramelly malt and a bitter dry finish. Very nice.
Bottle from Dorst. Hazy orange pour with a thin off-white head. Notes of citrus hops, caramel, unripe tropical fruit, pineapple. Medium body and carbonation and a bitter-sweet finish,
Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. A bit hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, heavy hops, citrus, lightly a hint of pine, piney bitter, hop bitter, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Lovely beer. This brewery is awesome! So many good beers (so far)!
Het bier is een stuk beter dan de muziek, maar daar is niet veel voor nodig. Lovely hops, bitter, fruity, fresh. Amazing. Love it. Dankzij dit bier zit ik wel met dat kutnummer in m’n hoofd.
3,8 erg bitter m p.
