From cask @ Chez Moeder Lambic in Brussels. Pinkish red color. Raspberry aroma with a hint of oak. Totally flat. Milky flavor with raspberry, lemon, oak and honey. Delicious, maybe just a bit too sweet.

0,25l from tap at Moeder Lambic shared by Beerhunter111, big thanks. Reddish berry hazy color, small pink head. Smells earthy, very musty, blue cheese, barnyard, fruits not noticeable. Nice smell. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of raspberries, raspberry juice, earthy, musty, barnyard, spices, peppery, grassy. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of raspberries, earthy and citric. Loved the taste, great balance, very good to drink

Sampled at Quintessence, apparently the 'flat lambic' version of the famed Lou Pépé Framboise. Beautifully deep, hazy fuchsia-tinged ruby red, some loose pinkish bubbles of air immediately after pouring but almost instantly gone. Intense raspberry in the nose, raspberry vinegar as well as actual raspberries, lemon rind, wet wood, tomato peel, sweat, yoghurt. A truckload of real, big raspberry juice in the mouth, blending with the sourness of the lambic, very refreshing and packed with fruit flavour; the sourness is drying, but not too puckering, a whole lot softer than what I remember from the bottled version, though admittedly that was a long time ago. No carb, slick and supple body, tannic wet wood and raspberry seed notes in the finish. Clearly young, but filled to the brim with fruit, absolute generous - and deliciously elegant.

The basic, traditional raspberry lambic from Cantillon, which is, among other things, transformed into Lou Pépé Framboise when bottled and refermented but is also available from tap at Moeder Lambic; tasted at Moeder Lambic Fontainas during Zwanze Day as "Framboise Cuvée Moeder". Medium thick and moussy, surprisingly stable, pale off-pinkish head - not sure how this is done, since we are ultimately talking about unblended draft lambic here... Hazy fuchsia robe with warm ruby red hue. Aroma of indeed a ton of fresh red raspberries, very overwhelming in its actual fruit richness, with subtler side notes of sweaty old T-shirt and old socks, plum peel, ketchup, fermenting hay, a lot of sweet sherry-like notes, leather. Very fruity onset as expected, estery but also buried under a truckload of real, rich, genuine red raspberry flavour, under which a tart lactic, yoghurt-like sourness develops; the basic beer is mildly lambic-funky but in any case very dry, yet kept juicy by this very generous dosis of raspberries. Plum and grape peel wryness lingers, carbonation is soft but I am wondering how a draught, unblended lambic gets any at all. Sourdough- and white bread-like soil carries the lambic esters, the real fruit and the sourness onwards to a very quenching finish, juicy and dry at the same time, with a tart, tangy yoghurty sourness lingering. Very rich and generous, this is about exactly what I was expecting from a Cantillon raspberry lambic, but I am left wondering where this gets its head and fizz - I assume this is somehow done on purpose by Moeder Lambic, in order to make it align with modern consumer preferences, but for me, this would not have been necessary at all and actually distracts a bit from the rich tapestry of lambic-estery and fruit flavours.
