This was way too sour when I tried this “fresh” so have been keeping off from buying future vintages. This, at this stage, is however damn good. Lots of white grapes, gueuze funk and very balanced acidity. I guess I need to get more Tilquin to age again.
White grape, funk oak
Vintage tick from Nashville.
Grapes, Tilquin funk, citrus, barnyard funk, more grapes. 4.2
0,75l from bottle at De Heeren. Yellow lightly colour, small white head. Smells grapes, earthy, musty, spices, light manure. Very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, citric, spices, peppery, herbal, some wood, grassy. Finishes rather dry and lightly sour with notes of funk, earthy and peppery notes. Tastes very young, not much fruit, almost sharp, rather dry and sour. Drinkable, but expected so much more, the pinot noir was so much better 8, 4. 7, 3, 13
