From tap. Dark brown almost black color with beige head. Roasted malty and hoppy aroma, chocolate, grapefruit, pine, grassy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of AndySnow IIRC. Pours reddish blackish with a huge frothy beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving some soapy trace on the glass. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, sweetened dark roast coffee, burnt cookies, pine needles, resinous wood, grapefruit juice, bitter chocolate and orange zest. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, burnt cookies, dark roast coffee, grapefruit juice, ripe tropical fruits, orange zest, pine needles, resinous wood, bitter chocolate and ash. Mouthfeel is round, soft, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, pine needles, resinous wood, grapefruit rinds and unripe tropical fruits.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffee, hopfig bitter. Geschmack röstmalzig, bittere Schokolade, Kaffee, fruchtig herb, bitter.

Black colour with a light tan head with good duration and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, fresh hops and with good maltiness. Flavor is roasty, some licorice, good bitterness with notes of coffee and black chocolate. The final has a decebt bitterness with lung duration and good roastyness on palate. Good body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel.

Stark hopfig malziger Antrunk mit zu starker Karbonisierung. Deutlich bitterer werdend, grasiger Hopfen, die Aromen werden von der starken Karbonisierung übertönt. Blumig werdend, intensiv, vollmundig. Röstig vor allem im Nachhall, hier auch noch einmal hopfiger. 11/12/12/11/10/11

Bottle from De Molen web shop. Batch 606. Almost black colored beer with huge beige head towering over my glass. Roasted malt, citrus hops, tropical fruits, herbal notes. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, tropical fruits, citrus hops. Long hoppy finish. Tasty.
