Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thick white head. Aromas lots of fruit, apricots, mango, mandarin, orange, citrus, vinous notes, brett, some woody dry notes, some spices. Taste is as the node, lots of fruit, orange, citrus, unripe apricots, mango, mandarin, some spices, light hops. Reminds me of a bretty saison. In a perfect way.
Bottle at Cask. Amber colour, big frothy bubbly off-white head. Aroma is lovely, white wine, funkiness, fruity, brett. Taste is predominantly tropical fruits, though initially gueuze like, and quite sharp. Finish is nice and subdued, Long flat, slightly creamy, nice and fruity, orange and pineapple. Further down the bottle, much more fruity, mango, pineapple. Really nice. Nice and spritzy, but soft in the mouth. Have been waiting to drink this again for a long time and it is still great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nelson Sauvignon on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 10 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. From a bottle at RateBeer 100 for 100 GBW event. Think it was this one. Brown with a cream head. Over ripe grapes, dough, light gooseberry sourness. Just medium bodied. Strong, both sweet and a little tart, some herbal bitterness. Good but seems forced rather than expressive in character.

0.3 l on tap at 'Be Unorthodox'. Clear, amber with a white layer. Sweetish, slightly sourish-funky, moderately fruity and slightly resiny aroma of caramel, dried apricot, Sherry, pine, some leather and a touch of clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, a bit sourish-funky, yeasty-spicy, slightly woody and a little fruity taste of caramel, clove, Sherry, dried apricot, a touch of wine and pine, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, moderately tart, woody-dry and slightly funky finish. Medium to full body, creamy, a bit astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Complex stuff, quite demanding but also very interesting.
Nice soft cherry aroma. Great little head and darker golden body. Flavour is soft hops and a hint of rose wine. Dry finish. Perfectly adequate but not necessarily exciting.
Can, as "Nelson Sauvin Brut". Slightly hazy deep golden color with white head. Aroma is white grapes. Taste is white grapes, brett, white wine. Silky mouthfeel. Very nice!
