Tap @ derat, large sample. Hazy to cloudy golden color, medium creamy white head. Aroma of flowery hop, slight spicy weizen, wheat, all in great balance. Wonderful combination of hoppy bitterness together with spicy and slight sweet wheat, hint of banana and clove. Perfect example of how a hopfen weisse should be. Truly excellent beer!
Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear orange color, medium to full sized lightly creamy white head that lasts for a long time and leaves superb lacing. Smell and taste wheat, some banana flavors, a hint of candy, sweetness, yeast. A bit herbal imo too. Hmm not my favorite of the series.
