500ml bottle from Hartlepool Maritime Museum. Black brown colour, tan foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruits & chocolate. Taste is sweet malty, molasses, chocolate, raisins, dark fruity with coffee and earthy boozy bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, dry malty grassy roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
