Is ruby red in colour and beautifully clear with a robust, full-flavoured malt and fruit nature.

Red Dust, takes its name from the cloud of Iron Oxide, emitted when the Steelworks were in production. In times now long gone, there were red clouds of the dust that would hang over the town, settling on cars and washing hung out to dry! The air in Consett maybe somewhat cleaner now, but the memory remains for many, and lives on in this beer!

17th April 2023; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, five guys drinking and chatting with plenty of snacks. 500ml bottle: BB March 2024, obtained from Market Hall Wines, Durham by my good self. Red hue to the deep amber body, off-white head. Malty, semi-sweet with a liquorice and slightly spicy twist within it's flavours and nose.

500ml bottle from Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. Clear dark reddish brown colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, raisins, tangy fruity. Taste is biscuity malt, sweetish with toffee, berry fruit notes and some spice & bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish with some lingering sweetness. Quite drinkable.
