Classic.
7 October 2022. At Yard House, San Antonio. Shared with the lovely Anke!
Clear amber, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, apricot, marmalade, biscuit, caramel, pine resin, perfume. Taste has sweet orange, mango & melon over a firm biscuity, peanutty, caramelly malt base; bitter notes of pine, grapefruit & orange peel. Piney, almost resinous hoppy finish, lingering hints of citrus zest, peels and grapefruit. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rounded and delicious.
Clear gold with a rich white head. Light dank and resin. Dank and resin with a touch of malt. Nice.

Tap at Belmont Station, I think. Malty, quite soft, bitterness is subdued. Aroma is fruity, light pink grapefruit. Something almost a little sweet in the taste. A caress rather than a slap. --- Beer merged from original tick of Two Hearted Ale on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8.
