Cask, half pint. @Lambik-O-Doom, Lot (Belgium). 04/09/2022 [#5.339 Global - #179 Belgium - #12 Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen] Dark orange, almost no head. Sour, cherry casks and nuts. Next one please!

Dorée claire oscillant sur orange, pas de col.
ArĂŽme est plutĂŽt classique avec de suite un bouquet lambic 3F, bouquet aromatique lĂ©ger de Sherry - notes de raisins avec une petite douceur de la barrique. Le tout se mĂȘle assez bien avec le lambic.
Palais prĂ©sente un caractĂšre marquĂ© de lambic - lĂ©ger funk, cave, vieux cuir mouillĂ©, effervescence faible avec une petite note de sucre rĂ©siduel, peut-ĂȘtre de la barrique, effet sec boisĂ© en fin de bouche. Correct sans avoir la complexitĂ© d'autres versions - notamment de Zenne y Frontera - mĂȘme si ici, on est juste sur un lambic.

Draught Clear golden whisky colour, no head. Old wood, sherry aromas jumping out of the glass, rainwater, ureum, preserved fruit. Tastes like diluted sherry of very high quality. Wet wood and horseblanket behind. Light, slick as from alcohol. Superb. Thanks to Dylan!

Clear gold orange blond beer, no head. Aroma: lots of oranges, oxidized, malty, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity up front, little metallic, juicy, bitter, nice. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, metallic, hoppy touch, pretty decent, but was somehow maybe expecting more of this.

Taster from tap at Lambic O Droom. amber ligthly hazy color, no head. smells sherry, light funk, oak, nutty, lovely smell. medium body, no carbonation. tastes of sherry, nutty, oak. finishes lightly dry andlightly sour with notes of sherry, oak and nutty notes. lovely, very very drinkable.

Bottle at OBD. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong wood, funk, oak, sherry, citrus. Slick body, funky, sherry, apple, citrus, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

On tap at OBD. Pours a cloudy orange gold with no head. The aroma is earth, funk, wood, sherry. Light body, strong funk, wood, light tartness, dry finish, very nice.

Pours clear, ple, darker yellow. Smell is full on oloroso greatness. Nutty, oxidative notes. Lambic underneath. Taste is full, oxidative, woody, very mild sourness. Fairly fullbodied, nearly no carb ( a sprinkle is present) very nice scent. great taste, too, just less pronounced.

Bottle at the Armand - Shaun Hill dinner. Clear golden color, still. Nice aroma of tannins and vinous sherry. Taste is also vinous, moderate funk, light tannins and sherry present throughout. Would love to see this one with a bit more time.

On tap at 3 Fonteinen. A slightly hazy orange golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of tart grapes, dry apples, wood, nuts. Taste of dry nuts, tart grapes, vanilla, wood. Nice.
