Cask, half-pint at The Fox & Newt. Tiny white head, fair lacing, clear golden-brown body. Mild aroma of bread and caramel. Grainy malty flavours, mid-sweet. Hints of bittersweet endnotes. Straightforward. (Leeds 04.07.2017).
Cask at the Britannia, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and malty aroma. Taste is bready malt, biscuit with some light citric earthy hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.
Tried at the Golden Lion, Osmotherly. Golden colour with a white head. Light citrus hop aroma and taste. Fairly thin body.
