We have blended 8 different malts, oats and cereals and mashed them at a high temperature to produce a thick, complex stout. The finished beer has been matured on whole Sumatra Mandheling coffee beans to elevate the roasted character and provide another level of flavour.

Tried at the Head of Steam Nottingham. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma smokey malt. Taste light smoke and roasted bitter. Full smooth body.

330ml bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle station. Gyle #004. Pours black in colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tobacco, dark chocolate, coffee cream. Taste is roasty malt, ash, coffee & chocolate, dark fruity with earthy bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Very drinkable.
