Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Bottle shared. Murky reddish color, beige head. Sourish aroma mixed with a certain kind of funk, lingering moderate sourness. Not bad actually, quite mellow. Nice.
Bottle shared at Tilt during SHNup: Poured a brown with a tan head. Aroma is pungent fruit. Taste is sour tart fruit. Nice burn
At Wild Festival Groningen, 10cl from bottle. Color: Reddish amber, off-white head. Aroma: Fruity, red and dark fruit, citrus hop. Moderate to medium sour, tart. Medium body, pretty much carbonation. Some caramel, lightly herbal. Subtle notes of pine needles(?). Strong presence of citrus hop, medium bitterness. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Interesting.
Hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma of lemon, light malt, caramel and light funk. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Yes, this is it. Heavy sourness, of the fruity kind, some herbal hoppy bitterness, little bit of leekishness even. Plenty of sweetness as well, working nicely with the sourness. Loads of wine, both in flavour as in tannins. Yum.
