Black, small layer of tan head. Smells a bit sweet, roasty, stoutish. Definitely port. Not massively thick, but nicely smooth and a bit sticky. Pretty boozy. Not super intense, but lovely flavours. Whisky for sure, some port, roasty coffee. Very nice.

Pitch black colour and virtually no head (but what there was, was brown). Aroma's: sweet, dark dried fruits, brown sugar, light booze. Retronasal it's sweet, roasted, umami, dried fruit, molasses, light boozy and woody. Flavour is heavy sweet and light umami, roasted, sweet chocolate. Warming alcohol. Full bodied, quite low carbonation. Finishes a little roasted, very light bitter.

18-01-20 // 440ml can shared with the local crew. Pitch black. Thcik viscous mouthfeel. Nose of rich sweet chocolate with some bourbon. Chocolate dark and coffee. First some bourbon barrel then more port. Awesome.

440ml can. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roast malts, dark fruits, caramel, whiskey. Taste is rich with dark fruits, roast malts, caramel, whiskey, slightly woody, chocolate and vanilla, sweet with a gentle bitterness. Full bodied, very smooth. Outstanding.

Tap @Rowdy hops, session 1. Black, tiny beige head. Dakr, malty aroma, roast syrup, barrel. Sticky sweet flavour, roast, barrel, whisky, port and and wood. Heavy but quite drinkable.

Verrassend weinig geur. Smaak is volzoet, whisky, bruine suiker, ik mis toch echt de dikke roast van weleer. Zeker lekker maar bij lange na zn prijskaartje niet waard.

44cl can from a trade with TomHendriksen, thanks! A almost black beer with a tan head. Aroma of dark heavy strong malt, coffee, chocolate, dried fruits. Taste of strong moderate sweet dark roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate, dried fruits, sticky, warming finish. Nice!
