Good yellow-amberish ehad over hazy, foxy-amber beer. New World hops, caramel, banana, alcohol, maltsyrup, honey and rather estery nose. Bitter-hoppy, with a non-sweet caramel and maltflavour following. Finish is again bitter, with a slight metallic tang. Bitterish maltcookies, orangepeel and zeste-oil concentrate. Feels well-bodied, and viscous-slick. Good carbonation. Certainly not bad. Belgian, I’m less convinced.
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Murky muddy and totally opaque color, average to medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, fruitpeel, a bit herbal, herbal hops. Taste malts, herbal, infected milk, weird, rotting hops, yeast. Bleh, not good. Very disappointing.
Bottle @ benzai. Murky, muddy orange colour woth a medium sized whote head. Smells hops, malts, banana, herbs. Tastes sweet, malts, hops, oak, apricot, slightly off. Medium body, soft carbo.
Draft - Yeasty fruity esters with some stone fruit sweetness. Cloudy copper orange with a decent white head. Sweet stone fruit, citrus, light bitterness and a yeasty fruity finish. Never been a fan of this style, sweet, fruity, jammy and light bitterness.
