Draught A bit orange tinted gold, with a small, fine, white head, fast gone, leaving textbook lace. Very malty underneath, with a lot of grassy, even lunaria or nectarine aromatised hops. Very fine. Extremely fesh hoppy (USA?) taste, hoppier than any Czech pils I know. To be compared with the Proef’ brewed 3 Fonteinen pilsner. Medium bodied, refreshing, slight wheat-like slickness. Superb - beer... because, is it bottom-fermented? The quality, however, is as good as anything Kerkom has ever come up with.
Draught at Weekend der Belgische Bieren, Hasselt, Belgium and later again at Beer Brothers’ Festival, Mechelen, Belgium
Hazy, golden to orange body. Off-white, small head. Good lace. Very fresh aroma of hops, flowers, orange, citrus, ... Moderately bitter flavours with some fruity, flowery sweetness playing around in your mouth (appearing on the left, then on the right, ...) Nice pilsener with some appealing characteristics. Very well balanced
