Bottle shared with, and courtesy of a large huddled group of emperor penguins in Deanso’s living room. Black with a small brown head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, toffee, caramel, soy and licorice. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with a thick oily texture and soft carbonation.
33cl bottle, courtesy of Tderoeck @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting.
Bottle shared Tderoeck @ Sebletitje’s Farewell tasting. Opaque dark brown to black color, beige to light brown colored head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is malts, soft coffee, iron. Taste malts, a little dusty, soft coffee, iron again, dark malts and some sweetness. Medium body, suitable soft carbonation.
Tap @ CBC Covent Garden, medium sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of dark choc, slight roast, mocha, bit booze, hint of vanilla, some cookie. Good balance between roasty bitterness and caramel sweetness, together with the perfect touch of boozy alcohol. Just what I was up to after a day of Craft Beer Co bar hopping.
Bottle - Sweet and fruity with lots of molasses. Jet black with almost no head. Lots of molasses and sweet vinous notes with a long cocoa, smoky, sweet finish.

From tap at Ølhus København. Poured near black in color with a brown head. Roasted malty, some woody notes, sweetness and coffee. Chocolate lingeringe, milky and sweet, roastedness and some tobacco notes. Long sweet slightly boozy finish. Solid.
Bottle @ home, thanks to Marlos. Black appearance with a thin brown head. The aroma is roasty, slightly charred with a bunch of anise and some plum/fig. Moderately high sweetness. Tons of licorice, fig, chocolate, and twangy fruit. Not all that boozy but a little too sweet. A little thin. Not my favorite flavors. Mostly anise. OK.
