Draft at Beer Temple. Pours near black with a small brown head. Aroma of big roast, plastic, jam. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Caramel in chocolate and good stuff in the palate, along with a strange fishiness which thankfully disappears into a lovely fudge finish. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
On tap @ Beer Temple. Black color. Beige, sticky head. Aroma’s: hard roasted malts, ground coffee, chocolate. Retronasal there’s also a bit of a weird, off aroma, skunky, hard to describe, that distracts a bit. Flavor is light sweet with a light roasty acidity. Medium bodied. Finishes roasted, moderate bitter.
