Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 2. Opaque pitch black color, dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, roast, raisins and I'm reminded of some liquor. Rhum maybe? Flavor is malts, sweet roast, vanilla lightly it seems (…). Soft mouthfeel, soft carbonation, full body. Nice, but the rhum and vanilla are a little too much for me to really love it.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate and malt mostly. Taste has sweet vanilla, bourbon, cherry and of course a lot of sugar. The flavors are a good combination, but somehow it tastes fake and too sugary, which keeps this from being great.

Borefts 2019 - Black and oily. Intense dark malts. Hints of chocolate and vanilla too.

Sampled at Borefts 2019, Saturday. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate malt, liquorice. Taste of heavy sweet strong dark chocolate malt, vanilla, bourbon. Awesome!!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice raost, alcohol, caramel, coffee, cocoa powder, bit dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sweet and sugary, lots of alcohol, good roast, sugary, some vanilla. Aftertaste: roasted, alcohol, very sticky and sugary, molasses, maple syrup. Decent, yeah. Rare, probably. Great, not really. A bit over the top...

Sampled at Borefts 2019. Pitch black with brown head. Licorice, lots of sweet pastry notes, soft icecream, light herbal, brownie, bourbon. Very sweet, bit chemical bitter. Thick full bodied.
