A tad pale for a weizenbock, but who cares. The flavor’s divine. Appearance has a colossal thick billowy cream colored head. Aroma’s traditional Bavarian hefeweizen with clove banana malt. Flavor’s like nose, plus with the bock a touch more sweet. Still enough tang to make it so drinkable. These guys have it together

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.1%. Moderately hazy golden to pale brown colour, moderate to small white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe bananas, also notes of yeast and cloves. Nice wheaty flavour with citrus, banana and cloves. Very refreshing for its strength. Might well buy again.

330 ml bottle. Hazy vibrant orange, big fluffy head. A lot of banana and clove, juniper, butter cookies, very yeasty and wheaty, citrus. Mild dryness, some sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry finish, alcohol very well hidden. Really great Weizenbock, very easy to drink, very balanced!

16 September 2020. At Draft & Dreams, Bologna. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy yellow, lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of banana peel, ripe apple, pear, aprcot, clove, wheat, dough, vague nutmeg, white pepper, subtle smoke (sausage, 'pens'). Taste has sweet banana, apple & apricot, estery but not cloying, sour wheat & bitter spicy accent resting against a doughy malty backbone. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish, quite spicy, whilst the ripe yellow fruit gives the alcohol an 'Obstler' profile. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Excellent, like a basket of bread & fruits.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Orange blonde, cloudy. Mandarine curacao and clove in the aroma. Very fruity flavor (banana, tangerine, mango, pineapple) mixed with some warming alcohol. Nice one!
