Canned 08.02.22. I still don't get the Monkish hype. It's good stuff, but for me not unique or extremely delicious. Good body, thick, smooth and chewey, with a nice load of hops thrown in. Pretty grassy, some mango, bit of gooseberry. Nice, nothing more.
On tap at the Grand Delancey. Pours hazy soft yellow orange. Orange, pineapple, lemon, light onion, punchy tropical fruit, papaya, light bitterness. Good full body. Good.
Nice low carbonation IPA
Can into a snifter showing hazy cloudy yellow with no head. The nose shows pineapple and papaya with a strong NE style malt backbone. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Extremely pineapple forward with a light citric edge and no bitterness. Drinks like straight juice yet completely dry. So simple yet so well done.
Can shared at Mechazilla event. Cloudy gold with a fluffy finger of head that lingers. Guava, pineapple and mikan dominate the nose with a touch of sudachi and dankness that lasts throughout. So quaffable, creamy on the palate with a ton of fruity juiciness that just doesn’t stop...all the way to finish. Low bitterness on the finish.
Very cloudy, heady, tons of passionfruit, lime and grapefruit in the nose. Super well balanced, insanely heady, guava, passionfruit and lime. Soo smooth mouth feel, rounded. Insanely well made. Slightly sweet alcohol well hidden. Lingering guava and bitter finish. Amazing.
Can thanks to Kurt. Pours a cloudy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is dank hops and tropical fruit. Medium mouth, juicy dank hop, pineapple, light bitterness, really nice.
