Bottled (thanks Yozora!). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some chili, vanilla, mild nutty notes along with some dried fruits, raisins, dates and cocoa. Flavour is liquorice, nuts, alcohol, some vanilla, roast and some slight tobacco to it. Very nice balance to it. And age has done it well.

On tap at Wakefest. Pours black with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma us roast, cinnamon, peppers, cocoa. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, light heat in finish, very good.

Bottle thanks to Mads and Frida. Pours pitch black with a small dark brown head. Aromas of cinnamon, dark chocolate, light chili, coffee, light dark roast. Taste is cakey, lots of cinnamon, biscuits, dark roasted malts, dark chocolate and a heaty fruity chili finish.

7th International Pre Brugge Beer Festival Bottle Swap (in De Bierboom); Friday 1st Feb 2019. One of three draft beers available on the night, this being my second beer of the evening. Black and viscous, tanned foaming top. Malty, with a coffee, vanilla and chocolate leaning in both the aroma and taste, very drinkable and very pleasant; slight heat bite also within the flavours.
