27 September 2022. At Jester King Brewery. Shared with the lovely Anke!
Hazy red, very thin, pink head. Aroma of raspberry, cassis, forest fruit jam, sourdough, lemon peel. Taste has very raspberry, cassis & blueberry; lemon-acidic over sourdough maltiness. Funky, tart finish, very fruity, vinous and acidic. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Dry & mouth-puckering. Amazing stuff.
Bottle, blend 11. Is 1 pt 9.4 fl oz 750ml? About 10C. Deep red with a brief pink head. Huge raspberry aroma with some milky funk, almonds. Despite jammy richness of the aroma, it's pretty dry straight away as well as sour. Blackcurrant, cherry, vanilla, white pepper. Finish has some bracken and is very dry. Excellent.
[edit]Kept a glass for the next day. Fruit less vibrant, sour beer shows more character. Suggests it would be as good but differently so in a year or two.
On tap tap Tørst. Pours deep red. Raspberry, sweet jammy raspberry, funk, strong tartness, vinegary, so much raspberry, fragrant, jammy, sweet and tart. Good thick highly carbonated body. Phenomenal.

Bottle courtesy of Chris and opened with friends after moving into our first house. Pours an intense red, almost the color of beets or blood with a finger of pink foam that dissipates. Lovely funky nose with deep raspberry aromas, oak, earth and raspberry skin alongside cherry aromas. More of the same on the palate with lots of dark cherry, earth and raspberry in the finish. Raspberry skin, oak and funk linger. A classic.
Heavy fruit
Bottle shared with vestergaard and rasmusott. Traded with preismj. Deep hazy ruby red with a pink thin head that fizzes away right after pouring. Settles with no head at all. This beer looks amazing. Aromas of tart raspberry, sweet notes of raspberry jam, some yeasty, funky notes. Some floral wine-like notes. Taste is medium tart up front, some sweet matured raspberries followed by some funky stale/hay-like notes in the finish. Can’t tell if it’s the oak that made this beer so damn good, but damn.. damn son, damn.
Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Thanks Andrew! Pours a deep burgundy red with a small bit of off-white pink foam that lingers as a ring around the glass edge. Lovely raspberry driven nose with some seed and skin and light balsamic notes as it warms. Oak with some light cream notes on the palate but raspberry drives the palate as well. Some mild seed astringency, good acidity and carbonation as well. Smooth and round with a refreshing finish. Raspberry flesh and skin coat the palate on the finish. Delicious.
