Pine, grapefruit peel, lemon, and biscuit malt. Golden yellow with giant white head. Moderately sweet lemon, lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel and pine flavor. Good body.
Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear gold with a full two fingers of head. Big Citra focused nose with green hops, berry and fresh squeezed citrus aromas. Good Belgian yeast aromas with bright citrus pith and zest. Warming alcohol as it goes down.
330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 9.5%. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast and citrus, with a strange hint of broth. Citric mouthfeel, some warming alcohol. Flavour of spices, white kandij sugar and citrus. Bittering hops in the finish.
Pours a pale golden colour slightly hazy, and a big dense white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's of green/herbal hops, tea leaves, light citrus. Retronasal there is sweetnes and fruitiness s as well. Flavour is light sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. High carbonation, as with a regular Duvel. Finishes moderate bitter. Very nice variation.
